Professional Background

I was born and raised in City. After completing my schooling locally, I enrolled in the Law Department at Dhaka University. Upon completing LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. (Masters), I joined the legal profession as an advocate at the High Court under a senior lawyer. Currently, I practice at my own chamber.

Years of experience representing ordinary citizens as a lawyer has given me deep insight into law and order, justice, and civic rights.

Political Activism & Struggle

From my student days, I have been actively involved in anti-fascist politics. I played an active role on the streets in all movements including the anti-Hasina movement, quota reform movement, road safety movement, and most recently the July Mass Uprising.

After the July Mass Uprising, we formed the first 55-member National Citizen Committee with the dream of a new Bangladesh, where I served as Joint Member Secretary #1 with responsibility for expanding the organization nationwide.

Struggle Experience

Due to my anti-fascist political activities, I endured remand custody. Torture in prison without proper medical care left me hospitalized at Pangu Hospital for months. I was a fugitive in multiple cases, yet I never left the streets or compromised for a single day.

Post-Uprising Community Work

After the mass uprising, I have tried to stay connected with the people of City, especially those in Your Constituency constituency. Instead of moving to Dhaka after the uprising, I stayed in City and regularly engaged with the residents of Fatullah to the best of our capacity.

Personal Life

I am married. My wife completed her Honours from the Arabic Department at Dhaka University. We have a two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Currently, I live in Fatullah, City with my parents, wife, and child.

My Commitment

The new Bangladesh we have achieved through the sacrifice of nearly two thousand martyrs — we will never allow it to become a country of corruption, terrorism, muscle power, or political criminalization, Insha'Allah.

Your advice, cooperation, and love will guide our path, Insha'Allah.
